Position Overview

We are seeking Plumbing Engineers to join our Design-Build Engineering team. This position is responsible for the design, coordination, and implementation of plumbing systems that support the successful delivery of commercial, industrial, healthcare, educational, and institutional construction projects.

You will work closely with project managers, estimators, BIM/VDC personnel, fabrication teams, field leadership, owners, and architects throughout all phases of project delivery. This role focuses on developing practical, cost-effective, and constructible plumbing system solutions that support project success from preconstruction through commissioning.

Candidates ranging from recent engineering graduates to experienced plumbing engineers are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities
  • Design plumbing systems for commercial and industrial facilities, including domestic water, sanitary, storm, and medical gas systems.
  • Produce and review drawings, layouts, and specifications in accordance with project requirements and code compliance.
  • Collaborate with architects, GCs, and internal teams to ensure coordinated, constructible designs.
  • Participate in preconstruction efforts such as budgeting, value engineering, and system selection.
  • Support field installation through coordination, clarifications, and site visits.
  • Review submittals and assist with final turnover documentation.
Skill Requirements
  • Plumbing design experience in the commercial construction industry is a plus.
  • Familiar with local plumbing codes.
  • Experience with BIM tools like Revit and CAD software like AutoCAD a plus.
  • Effective communicator who enjoys working cross-functionally with field teams and project partners.
  • Detail-oriented, responsive, and focused on delivering real-world solutions.
