Position Overview

We are seeking Quality Control Inspectors to support our commitment to delivering high-quality mechanical systems across commercial and industrial projects. We’re looking for individuals with strong mechanical experience who understand how systems are installed, how projects operate in the field, and what quality workmanship should look like.

This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in doing things the right way, communicates well with field teams, and can help ensure our work consistently meets Jarrell standards, project specifications, and customer expectations.

Responsibilities
  • Perform quality inspections on HVAC, piping, plumbing, and mechanical system installations
  • Verify work complies with project specifications, drawings, codes, and company standards
  • Identify quality concerns and work collaboratively with field leadership to resolve issues
  • Document inspections, deficiencies, corrective actions, and completed work
  • Support coordination between field operations, project management, fabrication, and engineering teams
  • Monitor installation practices to help maintain consistency, safety, and workmanship standards
  • Participate in jobsite walkthroughs, turnover inspections, and project closeout activities
  • Assist in developing and improving quality control processes and procedures
Skill Requirements
  • Mechanical construction experience in commercial and/or industrial environments
  • Strong understanding of HVAC systems, piping, plumbing, and mechanical installation practices
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to work well with field personnel and project teams
  • Self-motivated, dependable, and solution-oriented mindset
  • Commitment to quality, accountability, and continuous improvement
