Project Overview
We are proud to be part of the ongoing development of Yakult USA's newest manufacturing facility in Bartow County, Georgia, a major expansion for the global probiotic beverage brand and a landmark project in the Food & Beverage sector.
Key systems and equipment include:
- Culinary steam
- Multiple chilled water temperatures
- Cooling and tower water
- Process waters (RO water, washing water)
- Ice Storage
- Compressed air
Project Scope
Spanning 250,000 square feet, this state-of-the-art facility is designed with hygienic, food-grade standards at its core. Jarrell was selected for our design-build capabilities, prefabrication expertise, and ability to deliver highly coordinated solutions within a tight timeline. Our scope includes HVAC, mechanical/process piping, plumbing and refrigeration systems, all tailored to meet the rigorous demands of the food-grade production.
The Results
From the start, our team has leveraged value engineering opportunities, delivering cost-effective solutions while adapting quickly to evolving design requirements. The project's complexity - especially in terms of coordination and scheduling - has highlighted the strength of our internal collaboration and our partnership with Gray.
As construction progresses, Jarrell remains focused on delivering high-performance systems that support Yakult's growth and success. We are excited to continue pushing forward and will share more milestones as we approach completion in Spring of 2026.
