Missouri Licensed Cultivation Facility

Project Overview

We completed full mechanical systems for a Missouri licensed cultivation facility, a 73,000-square-foot renovation transforming a former  distribution facility into a high-performance indoor cannabis cultivation and manufacturing center. Working alongside a Missouri licensed cultivator, Jarrell provided HVAC and plumbing services that balanced aggressive scheduling, energy efficiency, and regulatory complexity.

Project Scope

For the cultivation space, our team installed a 4-pipe hydronic heating and cooling system using heat recovery air-cooled chillers, gas boilers, and vertical air handlers. The rejected heat from the grow rooms was reused for reheat dehumidification — a mission-critical feature in cannabis environments. The manufacturing area utilized a VRF system with 100% outside air DOAS, plus custom exhaust and ventilation systems to support the client's operational processes.

We also delivered a turnkey plumbing system with AHU condensate recovery, feeding into the fertigation system — all pre-fabricated and coordinated through our in-house engineering and prefab teams. Selected for our design-build expertise and commitment to value engineering, we met the fast-paced timeline while maximizing performance and cost control.
