Front Page Lofts
Project Overview
The Front Page Lofts located in St. Louis, include luxury loft apartments and commercial space that were built in a 114+ year old historic building with 8 floors. Upon partnering with Jarrell to retrofit and upgrade their systems, the Jarrell team completed the following updates to the building:
- 4 x 8- split system heat pumps for residential floors
- RTU for the corridor
- Toilet & dryer exhaust fans for the central system
- New chiller & heating boiler for commercial floors (1-3)
- 3-air handlers with chilled/hot water coils
- New cooling tower
Our Unique Approach
Given the age of the building, Jarrell had to cut out a portion of the sidewalk and secure the unit in order to get the new chiller into the basement successfully. Additionally, the 8th floor was made of concrete and clay tile that was 38" thick, so the Jarrell team had to core through it to gain access to install the system. During these renovations, the commercial space was occupied, so the team had to ensure the space could still be used throughout the full project, which presented it's own unique challenges.
