- Design and develop HVAC systems for commercial and industrial buildings.
- Prepare mechanical drawings, equipment selections, and system layouts based on project requirements and applicable codes.
- Collaborate with project managers, CAD/BIM teams, and field staff to ensure coordinated and constructible designs.
- Prepare load calculations, energy code compliance, and system sizing.
- Support preconstruction efforts, including budgeting, system selection, and value engineering.
- Participate in field walks, construction support, and final system review.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- HVAC design experience in the commercial construction industry is a plus.
- Familiar with industry standards and codes (ASHRAE, IECC, IMC).
- Proficient in load calculation software (e.g., Trane Trace and Carrier HAP).
- Strong communicator who enjoys working across disciplines and seeing designs come to life.
