Syndicate Trust Building

Customer: BSI Constructors; developers Sherman Associates and Loft Works

Project Overview: Conversion of the Syndicate Trust building into 20,000 square feet of retail space, 89 condos, 70 apartments and 13 town homes. Jarrell was contracted to provide Design-Build, mechanical, plumbing and controls services.

Challenges/Solutions: The HVAC system features highly efficient water source heat pumps, which maintain low energy costs for owners and renters. The plumbing design features cold water distributed to each unit by a Grundos booster pump. Since Jarrell was contracted to perform Design-Build, mechanical, plumbing and controls services, coordination was streamlined, reducing the cost and accelerating the project schedule.
