Customer: Ben Hur Construction/Linn State Technical College

Project Overview: A geothermal heat pump system to serve a new automotive addition to the existing campus. Approximately 156 geothermal wells at 200 feet deep serve this addition. The automotive bay areas are heated with 18 infrared tube heaters and 57 heat pumps serve the classroom and lab areas. A Carmon vehicle exhaust system and associated compressed air piping were installed for the automotive bays. The system is controlled by a Jarrell furnished and installed DDC control system. Jarrell also completed the plumbing system for this project.

Challenges/Solutions: The geothermal heat pump system is highly energy efficient.
