Project Overview: Design-Build mechanical and plumbing project for a 120,000 square foot facility. Mechanical systems include a hot water system with high efficiency condensing boilers, a chilled water system with high efficiency air Cooled Chillers, and indoor variable air volume air handling units. Plumbing Systems include approximately 165 plumbing fixtures distributed among three buildings. Two buildings are equipped with central domestic hot water systems consisting of high efficiency storage type gas water heaters. The third building is equipped with a small point-of-use water heater located above the restroom space. PVC schedule 40 drain waste and vent system with no-hub cast iron is installed in return air plenums. The domestic water system is copper type "L" with soldered joints and fittings. Isolation valves are provided on each group of fixtures to allow for maintenance or repair without total facility shutdown.
